Meet Executive chef Aaron McMahon
Executive Chef of Davenport Country Club since January 2017, Aaron brings over 20 years of culinary experience. He competes in many state and local competitions most recently winning the Cajun Cook Off at the Figge Art Museum in 2018. He also won The Quad Cities Taste of Elegance in 2016 & 2018 at the Isle Casino Hotel Bettendorf where he went on to represent the Quad Cities at the National Pork Summit in St. Helena, California. Aaron has trained under many chefs in the Quad Cities since the age of 15. He graduated from Scott Community College in 2003 and has had continuing education at The Greenbrier in White Sulfur Springs, West Virginia and The Culinary Institute of America in St. Helena, California. He was the Chef Instructor at Scott County Community College for 5 years and is still on the advisory board for the culinary arts program. He brings diverse cuisine to a well-traveled membership, and sources the best possible products from local sources to keep money in the community. Aaron resides in Eldridge with his wife and three children.
