John Panek

Head Golf Professional

John has been the Head Golf Professional since 2006. John is originally from Humboldt, Iowa and a graduate of University of Northern Iowa. Prior to coming to Davenport Country Club as the Head Professional, John was the Head Professional at Tournament Club of Iowa in Polk City, Iowa. He was also an assistant golf professional at Davenport Country Club, TPC Deere Run, and Pheasant Ridge Golf Course. John has played in 5 PGA Professional National Championships and played in the 2006 John Deere Classic. He and his wife Amanda have 2 boys, Zander and Bentley. 

Dean Sparks

Golf Course Superintendent

Dean had been the Golf Course Superintendent since 2014. Dean is originally from Bettendorf, Iowa and worked at DCC during high school as a summer job. Following high school Dean moved to Arizona where he completed Golf Course Management and Business programs from Mundus Institute and Arizona State University. From 16 years of age, Dean worked at several PGA Tour Facilities throughout the country and worked with famed golf course architect Pete Dye. Dean has worked numerous PGA Tour and USGA events and is a 18-year GCSAA member.


Josh Bousman

Assistant Golf Professional

Josh has been an Assistant Golf Professional since 2017. Josh is originally from Clinton, Iowa and a graduate of Ashford University. Not only is he great at golf, he has bowled five 300 games. Josh has worked at TPC Deere Run before coming to Davenport Country Club. Josh and his wife Hillary have one son, Parker.


Anna Cullinan

Assistant Golf Professional

Anna grew up in Bettendorf, Iowa and graduated from Pleasant Valley High School in 2013. After high school, Anna attended Western Illinois University where she graduated with an undergraduate degree in Marketing and a Master’s in Business Administration while playing collegiate golf. During her tenure at Pleasant Valley, Anna won 3 conference individual championships, 2 regional championships, and a State Championship in 2013. At Western, her success continued and earned her Most Valuable Player. From there her passion for golf intensified and she made the decision to become a professional and focus her attention towards teaching and growing the game of golf.


Ryan McClintock

Teaching Professional

Ryan has been the Teaching Professional since 2015. Ryan is from Monmouth, Illinois and a graduate of Western Illinois University. Prior to becoming the Teaching Professional at Davenport Country Club, Ryan was an Assistant Professional also at Davenport CC. Ryan has played in 4 PGA Professional National Championships and played in the 2016 John Deere Classic. He and his wife Amy have 2 boys, Max and Graeme.
